Storm is now out of ICU and critical condition. I have spent thus far a little over $3,000 which does not include the additional food and tests he will need this week - his follow up visit 1/12/07.
I am still trying to come to terms with this whole nightmare. Frank Liguori, DVM had increased the level of medication to extremly dangerous levels - to the pancrease and liver. Why would he not look into the obvious side effects? I had shared that Storm he had been vomitting/direahea and was bleeding from his rectum for over 15 hours. He wanted to charge me $501 for injections of medications/ blood test -yet he never took and exray or looked at the obvious signs Storm was demonstrating. Dr. Frank Ligouri's attitude from the onsight of that nightmare day 12/26/06 was arrogant and firey. I am writing this Council to request that the conduct of Dr. Frank Liguori be investigated. My beloved Weimeraner, Storm, nearly died after having his organs compromised due to overdoses of Valporic Acid prescribed by Dr. Frank Liguori. I am told by other doctors of veterinary medicine that the amount of medication my dog was given was in excess of recommended dosages for a dog his size, and classic reactions to the medication were ignored (as well as signs of multiple organ damage/failure). Attached is a detailed outline of the circumstances, including dosage and drug details. Please contact me if you would like my copy of my dog’s medical records and copies of his charts.
Sadly my dog was done in by Dr. Frank Liquori. i filed charges against him and used his own pills as evidence. i was told he was repremanded in 2003 but never found out what happen.
I spen thousands at the Babylon Animal Hosiptal. My poor doog although old suffered when Frank Liquori gave her pills he should not. She suffured seizures shortly after and past away. He is an sob
